My plan was to just "check out" one of Sherry's classes. I knew I needed to do something! I was soft & out of shape, out of work and depressed, eating lot's of snacks and hopeless.
With Sherry's gentle encouragement and patience, I became comfortable enough to at least make a commitment to her belief that I could do anything. After a couple of months of consistent hard work, the commitment I made was to myself.
She had me running (of course, if you know Sherry, she was walking & I was running just to keep up!), balancing, working my core ("Don't forget to breath!"), working my arms (five more..."how many was that?"), legs ("we're going to do the stairs today!"), and muscles that I didn't even know could be worked. I was so sore & never felt so good. I was no longer depressed. I was sleeping. I had developed new eating habits and was excited about what I could get my "old" body to do. Best of all, I was trimmer, firmer & stronger.
